It’s no secret that I love a two-piece, co-ord, suit. Whatever you want to call it, I love the matching pieces. My style often looks girly, but I never like to be too girly, and I don’t actually own many dresses. For occasions, I’d much rather be wearing something like this.
I’ve got a wedding in the summer and I’m thinking about wearing a suit instead of a dress!
The summer is full of fun, let’s face it, apart from Christmas, what other good things happen in the winter. Summer is usually full of weddings, lovely outdoor events, the races, Wimbledon, polo and much more. Sometimes the most expensive part can be buying different outfits for the events. Which leads me on to why I love this feminine suit.
THE TIMELESS WALLIS SUIT FOR YOUR SUMMER OCCASIONS
You’ve got the trousers, which I just need to add, if you’re like me and aren’t blessed with those super model long legs, Wallis have a really great petite range, which both the jacket and trousers are from. You can pair any colour/type of top with the ivory trousers! Light tones are a really great base to any outfit because it gives you so much freedom to create a variety of different looks.
You could go for something pastel, go bold in monochrome or maybe add some patterns in? Throw the jacket over and you’re good to go and looking polished as ever. If you don’t want to wear the jacket this time, maybe go for a really gorgeous stand out top, so you can really show if off without having the jacket over the top.
Or you can wear the jacket separate. If you do fancy wearing a dress but want a little cover up – this is light weight, its flattering, its super feminine.
Change up your jewellery from maybe silver to gold, add different accessroies too! It’s also a pretty timeless piece, meaning you can get it out year after year!
I’ve worn it with a stripe tee and some chunky black boots, because sometimes I really like to tone down the femininity. I think it just goes to show how versatile pieces like this are. I actually swapped the boots for trainers half way through as well!
Wallis, 3 other bloggers and me, recently went to The Limewood hotel to style and celebrate the new occasion wear collection, so if my outfit isn’t your cup of tea, you can browse the rest of the collection here and to check out what the other girls are wearing, clickhere
