It’s October, the mornings are darker, the evenings are darker, the festivals have finished and we’ve packed away the sandals. It’s officially autumn, which means it’s time for the knits and I’m ready for baggy jumper season! There was a little confusion mid/late September as the weather was mild and we heard there was an Indian summer potentially coming our way. I don’t think that ever turned up and it feels like any glimpse of warm weather has well and truly disappeared, although it is still pretty mild now, with just a little nip in the air! I’m not a weather lady so let’s get to the good stuff, the clothes.
This was one of the first knits I have bought this season, the 2nd I think to be precise. It’s actually not something I’d usually go for and I haven’t really bought in to that tie up/lace up detail but I like it on the back of this jumper, gives a a lil’ something extra. I’m not usually a cream kinda gal, usually I’d go for white, black or grey but it’s good to change it up a little and it goes so well with these shoes!
I’ve been living in this hat, it allows me to be lazy with my hair, it hides a multitude of hair sins! Another trend I didn’t think I would get on board with, but, bloody bloggers, influencing me! The irony of it!
Keeping it simple with the classic Topshop Mom jeans, not the most comfortable when your sitting down, but I’m just finding jeans super uncomfortable at the mo. They’ve faded loads since I bought them, I find Topshop jeans fade so quickly, especially the black ones!
Gone golden with the accessories, and kept it pretty neutral, I feel like it may be washing me out a little *reaches for the fake tan* but I actually love this look.
