Comfort believes in Dressing The World In Positivity and so do I! I recently wrote a blog post about how wearing the right clothes fills me with confidence, if you didn’t have a read, check it out here.
I couldn’t live without Comfort now, not only does it make my clothes lovely and soft, it makes my clothes smell insane! I’ve tried out the Comfort Perfume Pearls and the Comfort Intense Fuchsia Passion for the first time and oh my, can they create a perfume in the scent too? I just can’t get enough of the combo! Who doesn’t love the smell of freshly washed clothes!
This year Comfort is the headline sponsor for Breast Cancer Care’s annual London fashion Show, which is taking place on 28th September. The annual show will see 31 men and women of all ages, who have all had a breast cancer diagnosis, take to the catwalk in stunning outfits to show that you can still look and feel fabulous after a breast cancer diagnosis. Comfort are also donating £60,000 to Breast Cancer Care to support the charity!
Comfort strongly believes that clothing should be an amazing source of positivity – a mantra they have followed throughout its 50 year history so it ties in perfectly with sponsoring Breast Cancer Care’s Fashion Show.
I recently took on Comfort’s afternoon challenge, where the two Comfort products took care of my favourite outfit and then I had to wear that outfit to the fashionable and delicious Pret-A-Portea afternoon tea at The Berkeley Hotel, to show off how I dress myself in positivity.
We’re so lucky that we have a huge choice of clothing available on the high street and can choose to dress however we want to. Some days you might want to put on your sassiest dress and feel like Queen B or the next day, you’re in your cosy knitwear feeling all snug, it doesn’t matter what you wear, as long as you feel happy, comfortable and confident in it, that’s all that matters.
At just 26, it is so scary to hear so many stories linked to breast cancer of people a similar age to me. This campaign really touched me because I can’t imagine what it would be like to go through something like this, and I guess if you are going through something like this, choosing a nice outfit maybe isn’t on the top of the priority list, but every little helps and if your favourite shoes or new dress can bring a glimpse of positivity in to your day then that is truly amazing.
For my #DressedInPositivity outfit, I went for this cute pink tee with gorgeous embroidered sleeves and a floral dungaree dress over the top! I thought I’d go pretty in pink for the afternoon tea. I took my Mum along with me and she loved it! The afternoon tea was all themed around key designer pieces, such as the pink Gucci Tee, Charlotte Olympia shoes and some seriously cute Miu Miu bikinis!
