When I was single, I would immediately be put off by a guy’s shoes! I know it’s so so mean, to say, but I really would! I honestly know that personality means more than looks etc etc but come on, if a guy came up to you this weekend in a bar with a pair of god awful ‘dad’ style shoes, you can’t say that it wouldn’t put you off! AH I’m having a little giggle thinking about it now!
Shoes are so important to me and they totally make or break an outfit! Mine and my boyfriend’s flat is completely overloaded by shoes! Lucky for him, he has good shoe taste!
‘There’s an awful lot you can tell about someone and their shoes’ said Forest Gump, and I can’t agree more!
The backless loafer/mule is the perfect transitional shoe. We’re ready to put our toes away but not quite ready for the boots! They’ve been everywhere this year and they’re sticking around for the rest of the year. You know I’m not a huge ‘bling-bling’ kinda gal, but the jewels on the shoes are pretty subtle and totally add a little glam to your outfit! You can’t really go wrong with a nude shoe, what colour doesn’t nude go with? The detail is so stunning! You can always rely on Dune for great quality and sassy shoes! They also have the same style available in black!
Today I’ve gone for a minimal look with this uber cool oversized jumpsuit, I feel like it really has that ‘scandi’ vibe to it and the flared sleeve top goes perfectly underneath! You know I love my oversized clothes!
I can’t wait to wear these shoes with a pair of skinny/straight leg jeans, a crispy white shirt, and cute nude cross body bag. I love planning outfits and thinking about different ways to wear things.
I’ve got my shoes addict eyes on the Prynce boots, serious Stella McCartney vibes! http://rstyle.me/~a4efJ
My favourite Dune picks…
