It’s been a while since I did a beauty faves round up, I started doing my monthly favourites posts again, but then I didn’t have anything new to share as I’d been using some old favourites! But today, I have new products (well, new to me) that I love and I’m excited to share.
Can we also just take a minute to appreciate this GORGEOUS gold mirror tray! It’s from M&S and I’ll pop the link in here if you’re interested!
Right, on to the faves…
I’ve recently sampled a Clive Christian perfume, I had never tried any before and my oh my its delicious. They are on the luxury side of perfumes, the bottles look absolutely insane, literally so so luxe! They offer amazing perfume sets, perfect for gifts (or even a gift to yourself!). The one I have sampled is called magnolia, I only sprayed 1 spray and it lasted on my wrist all day!
I’ve never really been a ‘highlight on fleek’ kinda gal, I don’t like my make up OTT. I end up using a lot of products but always go for a natural/nothing drastic look. I’ve worn this on all of my recently holidays and it gives SUCH a lovely glow! You can use as much or as little as you like. It is super pigmented, so I just use a little on my cheek bones, cupids bow, under my eye brow and down my nose. You can also mix it with a primer or foundation too! An amazing make-up bag essential.
As I mentioned above, I don’t like OTT make up, I like it all completely blended and natural looking. This contour gel blends in SO nicely! The little cushion pad is super handy to easily apply the product, I then use my beauty blender to blend it, and voila, I have cheek bones! It’s a really natural colour too. If you haven’t heard of beauty pie, have read all about them here . It’s absolutely worth a try!
I was missing something in my skin care routine to put on my skin before moisturiser in the mornings. I’ve found it! This is a lovely refreshing gel-to-water lotion which soaks in to the skin quickly and gives you a dose of hydration! It helps to brighten, even, smooth texture and give your skin a more plumped feeling! I’m seriously enjoying using it!
Ok, I’m just going to say it. This is the best eye product that I;ve used. I had some fine lines on the outside of my eyes and it has genuinely smoothed them out. I’m only 26 but I have quite a few fine lines, dark circles, uneven skin tone and dry skin under my eyes and using this day and night has really helped. I never want to be without this!
Good lordy, can I eat it? Ahh it smells SO good! The body shop scrubs are always amazing, plenty of ‘grit’ in there to get silky soft skin. I can’t stand when a scrub or exfoliator just has like 2 grains of scrub in them! The aroma of this makes me feel like I am literally in a spa! The packaging is gorgeous too, I’m really impressed with the newer body shop products!
I was on the hunt for a nude lipstick that didn’t look like I’d just caked my lips in foundation, and compliemented my skin tone. Being fair skinned, I was finding it so hard to find the right one. Thankfully the hunt is over and this is my new bestie! This shade is called Beige pop. I get dry lips too and this is super moisturising and long lasting. This is from the recent collaboration Clinqiue have done with designer, Jonathan Adler.
This is an intensely hydrating moisturiser. It’s more than a moisturiser actually, it boosts skin moisture levels for 24 hours and instantly hydrates skin. There’s some amazing science behind this and it feels so good on your skin!
This is a 2 in 1. It primes and moistures in 1 step! My skin can get dehydrated so quickly, this gives me more moisture and preps for my skin ready for make-up. It is really light weight and soaks in to the face so quickly!
