If you’re a regular reader, you’ll know I’m all about versatility. I buy things which will go with 10 other things in my wardrobe, something I know I’ll get a lot of wear from and something I’ll opt for time and time again. Today I’m sharing 3 super versatile wardrobe essentials which I think everyone needs in their wardrobe.
3 versatile and essential pieces you should have in your wardrobe…
Wardrobe essential 1 – The Blazer
Dress it up or dress it down, the blazer will always bring a little sassy smartness to any look, throw it over a pair of jeans and a tee, a summer dress, or a pair of smarter trousers, it’s such a versatile piece. If you get a light weight blazer like this one, it’s the perfect summer jacket to throw on as the evenings can get a little chilly. I love the shade of this blazer, the warm camel tone goes SO nicely with denim but also compliments a monochrome look as well!
Wardrobe essential 2 – The T-shirt
Whenever I’ve spoken about wardrobe essentials, a t-shirt will ALWAYS be in there. I LOVE t-shirts. Tuck them in, let them hang out, although the t-shirt may seem simple, it gives that ‘effortless’ look to an outfit! I’ve worn t-shirts on nights out before! I’m not one for the bodycon dress, I’d much rather a tee tucked in to a skirt/shorts, dressed up with accessories and I’m done! I love this grey one, it is slightly a little more fitted than I’d usually go for but it’s more flattering, the material is thin so it hangs really nicely.
Wardrobe essential 3 – A pair of culottes
Especially this time of year, sometimes a pair of jeans can feel too heavy or too thick, so this is such a good option. Another piece you can dress up or dress down. I love them styled here with these heeled mules, but I also love them teamed with a pair of sliders/flat mules or summer sandals. I’m hunting for a pair of black pleated ones at the moment! I hate feeling restricted in clothes so another reason why I love culottes is because they’re loose and not clingy!
