I’ve recently been updating my wardrobe reading for the spring season, storing away big winter jumpers and coats and bringing spring life in! Here are my 6 key pieces for spring…
1. A summer trouser
It’s so nice to get out of jeans, but maybe not quite ready to bare the legs. There are so many pairs of gorgeous spring-like trousers on the high street at the moment!
2. Light grey knit
The English weather can be pretty bipolar this time of year and I opt for my light grey knit all the time! It’s just one of those easy to throw on pieces which goes with basically everything! I think its an essential for the spring wardrobe!
3. Mules/backless loafers
If you haven’t seen any yet, have you been avoiding shoe shops?! The backless loafer is EVERYWHERE! Gucci set the trend off with their iconic loafers but the high street have come up trumps with so much choice!
4. White shirt
From classic white shirts, flared sleeve white shirts, embroidered white shirts, the list is pretty endless! An excellent staple to have and very versatile!
5. A gingham piece
Gingham is the biggest print for spring! As its monochrome, you can mix any colours you like with it!
6. Statement earrings
They speak for themselves, literally!
