Transitional light weight jackets…
It’s that time of year when one day is 2 degrees and the next its 10 degrees, Ok maybe not right now, as its freezing but in the recent weeks it has been pretty mild! I get a bit too toasty in my thick aviator coat if I’m rushing around, yet absolutely freezing without a coat! You know when you go from cold outside to a heated shop or restaurant and the coat is on, then off, then on again, I hate carting the blimming heavy coat around when I’m not wearing it! As much as I love to be warm, if I’m out and about being productive, a lightweight jacket is best!
I’ve scooped up 5 jackets which are lightweight and perfect for this time of weather, you can layer a jumper or knit underneath or wear the jacket alone.
This orangey/coppery jacket caught my eye, I know it’s more of an autumnal colour, but we’re not exactly in summer yet are we! As you know my wardrobe is predominately black, white and grey so it’s nice to add a bit of colour!
Skinny jeans have always been my go-to and I’ve been after a pair of mom jeans that didn’t make me look like a sack of potatoes, and I’ve finally found them and I love them! They give such a relaxed, ‘un-done’ style. What more goes with a relaxed look than a stripe tee. It’s simple but I think effective.
The backless loafers are a big thing since Gucci took over Instagram with their backless loafers late last year, and I’ve bagged myself a velvet pair, they’re incredible and only £24.99, a rather than triple digits of a Gucci pair! While we’re talking about bargains, I spotted this very good Chloe Faye dupe on eBay for £11, although it said 2 months for shipping, I bought it and it arrived 2 weeks later. A very very happy Laura!
