My five favourite beauty items this month…
If you’ve been a reader for a little while, you’ll know that I used to do ‘Favourite Five’ posts once a month, summing up my favourite five products from that month. I don’t know why I stopped doing them… but they’re back and here is January’s!
Let’s kick off with Dr Lipp’s nipple balm
yes that’s right, nipple balm. I haven’t actually used it on my nips, but it is one of those products which you can use for tonnes of things! Lip balm, little cuts and grazes, dry skin, cuticles, a very handy little cream to have in your bag! It is very thick and definitely more like a balm rather than a cream but I’m really enjoying using it!
Bronnley London Rollerball perfume
This is the handiest thing ever. It is so small and convenient, you know when you’re out and about, maybe shopping or lunching, and you just need a little freshen up, I just give this a little roll on the neck and wrists and you’re refreshed. I don’t like carrying round my perfume bottles are they are often heavy!
Apparently this is the perfect lipstick to wear with jeans as the shade balances the tones in blue denim and lights up your face, fancy huh! It’s just one of those easy to wear everyday shades and has been my go-to lipstick this month. The lipstick is really moisturising and contains Vitamin E, shea butter and aloe vera gel, so helps with my dry lips!
I love to double cleanse and get that super clean feeling after taking off my make up at night. This is an oil which you massage in your face and it lifts off all the make-up leaving you with clean skin ready to have a thorough cleanse! I use this first, and then cleanse again either using my holy grail Liz Earle or anything I’ve got in the cupboard! It’s also really good at getting off mascara!
A full coverage foundation but not cakey at all! The applicator is like a large concealer wand, it is really easy to apply and blend in. It doubles up as a concealer too, so you can dab a little extra on place you need more coverage! It lasts really well too, I’m impressed!
