Hola Hola!

Is the summer over? Has all the sun gone away? The weekend is trying to tell us so, but hopefully it’ll return soon!

So I’ve talked before about stepping out of your comfort zone with outfits, trying out new styles or something you wouldn’t usually wear and just giving it a go. That is exactly what I did with this outfit. Yes I live in T-shirts and they’re literally my favourite thing ever, especially when they have a cute little cat on them! But the skirt, I’ve seen them looking great on others but wasn’t sure it was going to suit my shape. I do love the┬áskirt and the bronze colour is so pretty, luckily we shot these photos when it was sunny, and it really shimmers in the sunshine. However, I didn’t feel the most comfortable in it because I felt it nipped in at the waist which was great, but then the material just hung on my hips and didn’t really do much for me.

I’m not going to ditch the skirt yet, I’m going to try it out with a more fitted top and then I think it will be more flattering. I’m still happy with the look and as always I like to put my own twist on outfits, like making it slightly more casual. The colour of the skirt and the colours in the little cat really compliment each other!

Moral of the story is, if you don’t try, you’ll never know!
