REVIEW // FAVE FIVE

I haven’t done a fave five in such a long time, so this is very overdue but I have lots of good things to share with you!

Epoch Glacial Marine Mud

This weather plays havoc with my skin and recently I kept breaking out and having really oily areas which no one wants! I had seen other people using this mud mask and thought I’d give it a go. I was amazed with the results as it really cleared up my skin and I was left with smooth, detoxified, revitalised skin! It is full of natural ingredients and sea botanicals which absorb any excess oils, exfoliates the skin without harsh rubbing and cleanses deep down in to the pores. It deposits more than 50 skin-beneficial minerals to nurture and detoxify the skin and draws our the dirt and impurities. When I have used mud-masks before, they are thick and stodgy but this one is really light weight and so easy to apply. Favourite product!! You get around 25 applications per bottle so lasts ages too! I loved it so much that I have become a distributor for this product, so if you are interested please contact me. Payment can be made via PayPal or bank transfer and I’ll post out to you.

‘Drink Up’ by Origins

Oh my goodness, this is like heaven in a bottle! It’s an intense moisturiser which is used as an overnight mask. It smells amazing and has such a rich but not greasy feel to it. It soaks in lovely and leaves skin feeling so plump and hydrated. I use it around 3 times a week and it when I do use it, it feels like such a treat! It is perfect for this time of year when the weather is changing and can have horrible effects on our skin!

Glory Days by Timebomb

This is a daily moisturiser which I have been using every day for around 6 weeks and I will most definitely be continuing to use it! Not only does it moisturise, it primes and brightens your skin too. It has a slight hint of lavender fragrance which is lovely and relaxing on the skin. It doesn’t leave any residue on the skin whatsoever so the perfect base to apply make-up. It contains Hyaluronic Acid which is widely used nowadays in skin care and is well known for its anti-aging properties. It has a very subtle micro-reflective particles in which give the skin a gorgeous glow! I’m so fussy with moisturisers but this one ticks all of my boxes! I love the packaging too!

L’oreal Professional Silver Shampoo

Over the years of being a platinum blondie, I have tried and tested SO many silver/purple shampoos. Using a coloured shampoo is one of the easiest ways to maintain the platinum tone if you have blonde hair! This one is my favourite as it’s so full of pigment, after just one wash I can definitely notice a difference! I leave it on for a few minutes in the shower and it knocks out any warm hues and gives a lovely platinum finish.

Essie – Spin The Bottle

I think every girl will understand the frustration of finding the right nude shade of nail polish! I am absolutely loving ‘Spin The Bottle’ by Essie. Not only is it the perfect nude for my skin tone, I love the brush applicator on the Essie polishes and the long lasting wear you get with them! They are a little pricier than other nail varnishes in Boots or Superdrug but it is most definitely worth it!
