Being British and being an absolute sun worshipper, the sandals obviously came out as soon as there was a bit of sun, I wouldn’t be a typical Brit if I stayed in my boots for 24 degrees right?
Anyway, the weather had been warming up and I was going away to Malta (post coming soon!) so it was time to add some sort of sandal to my wardrobe. I didn’t want something that was massively going to expose my feet so these were perfect as they are almost like a sandal/shoe, a shandal, a sandoe? Haha I love making up words
I found this little khaki number at the back of my wardrobe feeling so sorry for himself, and it was actually just what I am looking for and a fab transitional jacket! Khaki is a key colour this season and it has a utility vibe to it as well. So many of the high street shops have got these shirt/jackets in at the moment, love the military feel as well!
As the sun was out, sandals were out, it made sense to get the pins out too. I popped this stripey A-line dress on underneath to keep it fairly casual, although it was a lot shorter than I thought! Stripes are an all-year-round favourite of mine.
I also added my tassel bag which gave me the smallest little glimmer of Coachella in my head, wishing I was there. I saw on H&M’s Instagram bag they now do this bag in tan, I think that definitely needs purchasing for the summer!
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine, lets hope it sticks around for the weekend!
