Dress - Missguided / Boots - Pretty Little Thing / Scarf - Missguided / Bag - Primark

I had seen this suede dress bobbing around on Instagram and loved it, but it was one of those things that I thought looked amazing on everyone else, but would it actually suit me? I ordered it and I’m in love. I’ve never owned anything suede apart from a pair of boots so this is a new texture to play around with! The suede material and the V neck cut is very 70’s. The sassy seventies is a key theme for spring/summer and suede items play a vital part in that. A-line suede mini skirts are everywhere aren’t they! I’m still yet to find the one. I’ve spotted a few in H&M, Topshop and New Look that could be potential good candidates. I love the suede skirt, polo neck top and ankle boot look.

The dress is more of a khaki colour, but the photos make it look a lot ‘greener’ than it actually is! The fit of it is lovely, it has just the right ‘looseness’, length is spot on and the zip detailing gives it a little edge…. However, the zips are obviously metal and they are really chilly on your sides when you put it on haha. Maybe pop it on the radiator before you wear it ;-)

Unfortunately it’s just not warm enough to wear this little number on its own, so I added my faux fur scarf. O I’ve just noticed I’m having a mega Missguided moment!

These copy-cat patent DM’s have been my favourite boots over the winter, will be sad to leave them when the summer comes

So, hopefully more seventies and more suede on their way!
