I haven’t posted a favourite five in what seems like forever! I thought it was time to update you on my recent product loves….

Benefit Triple Performing Facial Emulsion

Around Christmas time Boots has a promotion on for the skincare mini’s, I’m a sucker for their packaging so I thought it was the perfect time to try. Well, not only is it in the cutest bottle, it has a fresh fragrant scent to it, nothing overpowering though and leaves your skin feeling seriously amazing. I find some ‘runny’ moisturisers too light and I don’t feel like they have moisturised enough but this one just feels beautiful on my skin! It feels super moisturised and hydrated and it doesn’t leave a thick nor greasy layer lurking on the skin. It leaves you with the perfect base to apply your make-up! I’m very picky with moisturisers and it’s not often I ‘re-purchase’ but this I will definitely be re-purchasing.

Batiste Dry Shampoo

I literally don’t know what I would do without dry shampoo? In the week, all I do is blast my hair with this and stick it up in a bun. It’s a time saviour and I’d even go as far as a life saviour! I’ve tried lots of different brands of dry shampoo and NOTHING beats Batiste. It’s so reasonable and you can often pick it up on offer. They stock a variety of scents, shades and sizes. Their 2 newest products are ‘Care and Vitality’ and ‘oomph it’ which they have kindly sent me, but I would have bought them anyway. I’m a die-hard fan! Even if I have clean hair, I love to use this to add texture and give my roots some volume. If you don’t have batiste in your life, you are seriously missing out. I get an extra 30 mins in bed because of this stuff, and for that reason, I’m in love!

Lucas Papaw Ointment

So I’d seen this here and there on the internet, I had seen make-up artists use it too, everyone was raving about it so of course I had to get my hands on it. The main reason I bought it was because my lips were super dry over the winter and this was supposed to sort them out a treat and it did! You can use it for all sorts, dry skin, cuts, splinters, insect bites, spots, you name it and I think this could help. The packaging isn’t fancy but of course it’s what inside that counts. It feels a little like Vaseline minus the smell. No stickiness in sight which is always a winner, no one wants sticky lips. It comes from Australia and is made from fermented fruit I believe, interesting ey!

Liz Earle Hot Polish Cleanser

I have previously posted about this, and it definitely deserves another mention! I use this every night to remove my make-up. The thick cleanser is luxurious on the skin, smells incredible and gently removes all make-up. It’s perfect before bed time as it’s such a relaxing process. I swear by this product keeping me fairly spot and blemish free. I would recommend this for all skin types and I know it’s a popular favourite with us product junkies! I never want to be without this stuff, I could rave about it all day long. If you have never tried it, get to NOW!

KC Color Mask – Pearl

We are always in a rush these days aren’t we, so to have a product which kills two birds with one stone is always going to be a little saviour. This products tones and conditions at the same. I have been using the Pearl shade but there are another 13 shades available! I pop it on for about 10-15 mins and it leaves my hair feeling super soft and with a lovely tone. I have my hair bleached and one of the problems I face, which I’m sure fellow bleachers will share is that it is a little yellowy sometimes. I love cooler tones in my hair, so this knocks any yellow tones out a treat! I’d recommend trying Platinum or Vanilla if you are a blondie! It is a Finnish product but you can get it from salons in the UK!

So that’s it for my recent favourite five. Let me know if any of these products are your favourites too!
