It’s mesh, it’s midi, it’s marvellous and it’s monochrome.
With midi skirts being recharged and taking a prime spot in our wardrobe, this mesh, grid midi ticks all the boxes, literally.
Mesh has been a popular material recently which has been played around in different ways. I think it works so well on this skirt. It has a handy skirt underneath, which, as you can see isn’t mesh so it keeps all your bits covered! I love the grid pattern against the sheer mesh, it really adds texture and lets the pattern stand out more.
I wanted it to have an everyday feel to it, so I just popped on a white tee on top. I know I’ve worn this loads recently but it’s so easy to wear! The red lippy hasn’t been out in action recently so I thought I could incorporate that too and add a pop of colour.
Introducing you to my ‘western meets vintage – mule meet boot’ boots! My wardrobe is full of black boots, so I made up a really good excuse that I needed these white boots to change up my wardrobe, and then yes, just as you guessed, they ended up on my feet. It doesn’t take my shopaholic mind much persuading! I was dying for the Zara pink suede boots, but so hard to track down as they are all sold out, but actually I prefer these so I’m a chuffed little bear.
