Blazer – River Island / T-shirt – ASOS / Shorts – River Island / Boots – Topshop

On Thursday evening I went to party with Grabble at the trendy Hoxton Hotel, in Hoxton obvs. Grabble described as ASOS meets Pinterest is an online shopping platform that lets you store and save any of your fave items from around the web into one place, allowing you to keep track of all your wants and must-haves. You’ll get emails if anything you’ve saved is reduced in price (kerching!) and you can see what other fashionistas are ‘Grabbing’ too. They were having a whole re-vamp of the site so they thought it was a good idea to celebrate!

I knew there was going to be fellow fashion bloggers and gorgeous Made in Chelsea’s Andy Jordan, so the pressure was on to find a good outfit.

I’d picked up this over sized blazer from River Island via ASOS and was dying to wear it so I had to base the rest of the outfit around it. This check/grid pattern is everywhere, I love it, it feels smart and structured.  I wanted to be a little smart than jeans, so of course Ii opted for shorts. You know me, I can’t resist a pair of good shorts. Again, these are River island, well done RI you’ve exceeded my expectations recently! High-waisted and perfect length, winner.

Wearing the tailored shorts and blazer Ii was feeling pretty smart so I wanted to pair it with something fairly casual to even it out. Raiding my wardrobe for a tee wasn’t easy, I don’t seem to have many t-shirts actually, I need to get some (any excuse for shopping) but I did find this grey slogan tee from ASOS and I thought it matched in well.

This chunky buckle belt is my favourite belt, it came free with a pair of trousers ages ago but it’s starting to wear away now! I need to find a similar one – anyone spotted anything like this?

These boots hardly leave my feet! Especially when you are on and off the tube, up and down the stairs, you need something fairly comfy so these are always my answer.

Grabble put on a fabulous party, it was really lovely to meet like-minded fashion bloggers and of course to I had to get a snap with Andy!

Have a browse at Grabble’s website and pop in to the Hoxton Hotel for a cocktail or two if you are passing. I can see it becoming one of my favourite bars.

One last thing, I believe today is the last day of voting for the Cosmo blog awards, it would mean so much if you could nominate me for ‘Best Newcomer’. Click HERE for the link to the nomination page. The ‘URL of blog you wish to nominate’ is – lauraslittlelocket.wordpress.com. Thank you so so much x
