Ah the sun! In true British style, as soon as that sunshine peeps through the clouds, I get my summer attire out. How you can blame me though? All the shops are stocked up to their eye balls with summery gear and we just don’t get the blazing sunshine to wear them! Did I hear we are due to have a heat wave?!

Anyway, I talk about the weather a lot which I don’t mean to. It’s just because I am a massive sun junkie and the warm weather makes me happy!

On to the important stuff…..

As I just mentioned we don’t get great weather, so it’s handy to have a light weight style jacket. I’d actually say it is more of a long line blazer. You know I love a bit of monochrome, but this is like monochrome with a twist! The cute floral pattern gives it a summery edge. The long line blazers are really winning me over right now, I need to get my hands on more! They are rather ‘Olsen twin-esque’ and anything I can do to be like them, I will do!

Keeping it simple under this gorgeous jacket, I am wearing my go-to black playsuit from H&M. This was one of those H&M gems. It was £7.99 (I think) and I wear it SO much! It’s such a good layering piece.

I couldn’t help not to wear my river island chunky sliders! These sandals are incredibly comfy, the thick rubber sole really cushions your foot. As I have said before, I love the patent straps, it gives them a slight edge of chic-ness!

I’ve just realised this outfit is purely H&M and River Island. I love the high street stores, we are so lucky the UK high street keeps so up to date with the current trends at reasonable prices!

What are you thinking to the long-line blazer jackets?

Great blazer though actually just looking at the pics I thought it was a kimono! Loverly pattern either way. Bit in love with the playsuit! H&M do such good basics. I have a basic sleeveless LBD I bought from there about 10 years ago and refuse to let go of! xx

With every plog post or Instagram the hair envy grows & grows, Laura! I plan on just showing a pic from your website next time I visit the salon! Any plans for a post on how you achieve/maintain the colour/condition etc? Would love… Xx
