Here is Sunday again, these weekends whizz by don’t they!
When I put this outfit together, it got me thinking……. If I went to Paris, this would be my perfect outfit. I love to travel and see different places in the world and that is one place I haven’t been to. It’s so close to the UK so I really need to plan a trip ASAP! I want to eat fresh onion soup from the streets of Paris and indulge in to some yummy french pastries and breads.
This full body midi skirt is gorgeous! I love the pastel blue colour and the clean waffle pattern. I know these skirts aren’t the most flattering as skirts go, but their prettiness makes up for that. I can’t tell you enough how much I am enjoying the pastel trend. The colours are so light, summery, clean and cute!
Now, i’m not exactly sure what to call this ‘top’, is it a bodice? a leotard? a swimming costume minus the swimming? I don’t know, but it’s like a leotard. Leotard reminds me of when I used to have to wear lycra leotards to my dance classes! However, this one isn’t lycra, its a soft cotton with the poppers underneath. I actually love these as I often like to tuck tops in and it stops them from riding up and hanging out. It keeps it neat. Now I can’t stop saying leotard in my head and thinking what a strange word that is.
I’ve teamed this up with my wonderful white accessories to get a good summer feel going on. These white chunky sandals are my favourite shoes at the moment, the straps seem to be just in the right places. As you know I am a huge lover of the chunky shoe, so a pair of cleated sole summer sandals were a necessity for my summer wardrobe. These are the perfect pair and being white they are so versatile and easy to match with outfits. Sorry I can’t get the link to these particular shoes as I think they may have sold out but they were from La Moda who have some very bits so check them out! I don’t often use this bag which makes me sad but it fitted in perfectly with this outfit. Quite a few people have asked which bag this is, it is the medium whistles leather croc bag. John Lewis, ASOS and the other large stores sell them as well as the Whistles stores.
Have you all had a good weekend? I completed Tough Mudder yesterday which I am extremely proud of as I didn’t think I would be able to finish it! It was so hilly and muddy (obviously) which made the running so much harder! If you like a challenge and not afraid to get rather dirty, you need to give it a go!
Also, If you have been to Paris, I would love any hotel recommendations or any other suggestions you may have!
