Jumpsuit – Primark

Belt – River Island (came with trousers)

Boots – New Look

Blazer – New Look

Well, haven’t my prayers been answered today! The sun was shining high, the sky was bright and blue and it was bloody marvellous.

When these photos were taken this morning, I hadn’t thought of wearing a jacket so that is why there is only one photo with my jacket on just as I was leaving, also taken on the phone so not great quality – SOZ!

Anyway, I have already worn this jumpsuit on a night out recently with some heels but I was off to London today with the gals so I wanted to wear something fun and comfy. As the material is almost like stretchy T-shirt material, it’s easy to dress this up or down.  I love the print on this, it’s hard to describe. It’s not floral, it more just like random shapes? I can’t get enough of the £15 bargain jumpsuit from Primark, I hardly ever try on clothes in the store, so when I got this home I thought I would be returning it very soon, but after trying it on…..It’s a definate keeper!

Today I paired it with my cut out boots, chunky waist belt (so it didn’t look like I was wearing pyjamas!) and a mint blazer. The mint blazer was a last minute throw on but I thought it worked really well and bought some spring pastel colour to the monochrome outfit. The blazer is a couple of years old but New Look actually have an a fairly identical one new in at the moment.

We had a lovely girly day in the sunshine, we wandered around the Buckingham Palace area and then indulged scones, cakes and champagne at The Courthouse Hotel. The hotel was situated in a perfect location, at the top of Carnaby street, opposite Liberty.

Let’s hope we have plenty more sunny spring days like today on their way to us.

Did you get to soak up some sunshine today?

I’ve got some really summery outfits coming up this week – stay tuned!
