Jumpsuit – Missguided
Shirt – Topshop
Necklace – H&M
Shoes – ASOS
I had a good browse of the Missguided website after seeing the photos on instagram from their SS14 press day. They had some gorgeous summer pieces and I couldn’t resist!
When this jazzy jumpsuit arrived, I was so excited! What a great summery take on leopard print! I love animal print as it is, but in bold, bright summery colours, well, lets just say I love it. Plus, it has pockets, winner. In the summer months, coral/orange has got to be one of my fav colours.
I started styling this jumpsuit with a shirt underneath to bring a bit more of a casual look to it and sometimes I feel more comfortable a little covered up! I think layers are a brilliant way to bring different looks and styles to an outfit. Whilst the summer isn’t quite here yet, the shirt adds another layer to keep the chill off. The sun was peeping through so in true British style, I whipped off the shirt to show what it would look like alone. Yes, I am pretty pale and pasty, a tan is calling for sure.
As you can see, I have rolled up the trousers a little as I am all for the cropped look and they were a little long anyway. Popped on my ASOS photoshoot heels and done! You could easily wear flats or even boots with this jumpsuit.
I’ve got a day out in London with the girls coming up so I’m thinking of layering this jumpsuit up with a shirt and wearing chunky boots instead as I can only wear heels for a very limited time!
Can’t wait for summer evening’s to dress up and dine ‘al-fresco’!
What do you think of the shirt underneath? I love layering – do you?
