It’s Sunday evening, its blog time!
So today we saw a little sunshine, doesn’t it feel like we have been starved of sunshine for such a long time! Isn’t nice not to have to carry a brolly around and run from one place to another with your scarf on your head…. or in my case, the scarf goes over my head, covers my eyes, and I can’t see where I am going… so yes, it’s a much more pleasant experience for me when I can wear my scarf around my neck where it belongs and not on my head.
As much as I love my garden for my photos, whilst I was in London, I had to take advantage of the London street backgrounds. It’s my absolute dream to live in the city so maybe one day all of my posts will be set in the city!
Today I wore my ASOS high neck top, I love the pastel blue colour. I never thought I would get in to the high necked tops, but I actually love it and I think it looks fairly classy and something different for my wardrobe. It’s all about diversity and variety!
The grey cocoon coat had gone to the bottom of the pile since the mint coat has been on the scene so I thought it was only fair for it to have a weekend out! I think the pastel blue and marl grey really compliment each other.
Paired this outfit up with my £3 primark necklace which I am loving at the mo, and also my DIY’ed ripped jeans. O and of course, need I say what shoes I am wearing! I will be in these boots until it gets a little warmer and I get get a pair of snazzy white ones.
This outfit was actually fairly simple for my usual style but I wanted to make the high neck top my statement piece, so didn’t want anything too jazzy to take the limelight away from it.
I really hope all the images are showing as I had a few probs uploading today. If there are any WordPress pro’s out there, I would love a technical lesson! I’m getting used to the basics… but I want to learn more. Let me know 🙂
Hope everyone has had a super sunny Sunday today, have you discovered any high neck beauties? I think I might add another one to the wardrobe!
