Top – eBay, Necklace – H&M, Leggings & Boots – Topshop
If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen the picture of these bottoms, and I was a little sad as I hadn’t worn them but, last night I had to put a stop to that. They had to be worn! I went for a couple drinks to a nice mod bar with a few of the girls, so I wanted the standard smart/casual with a bit of pizzazz.
I absolutely adore these leggings but I’m not going to go in to too much detail about them today, as I’ve got a post coming up all about them. They will be the main little stars in the post so I want to save my raving love for them later. I will keep you posted on that!
As they are black and white you could easily co-ordinate pretty much any colour in to this look but as I was wearing these for a night time look, I wanted the monochrome affect as I think its effective, suitably dressy and relatively classy.
I had seen this 3D rose top on a few other fashion blogs and around on the internet. It was around £12 from one of the eBay shops. I was a bit wary of buying from eBay as I wasn’t sure on the sizing and fit, but I actually really like it and it fits well. If you wanted a black top with something extra, this is your thing. The rose effect and mesh texture really makes it stand out. Another item that’s really versatile.
Heels wasn’t something I really wanted to wear last night so instead I opted for my chunky heeled boots. I feel like I am living in these at the moment. They go with basically all my clothes and so easy to incorporate in to outfits. Sometimes I think some people perceive me to be super girly, and yes of course I love all girly things, but as soon as someone says girly, I instantly think, a fluffy glittery sparkly pink princess, which I really am not. In fact I don’t really like glitter or sparkle on me. That’s why I am head over heels in love with these boots, as I feel like they take a bit of the ‘girly’ edge off.
I always throw on as much gold costume jewellery as I can, layer up those midi rings and with a chunky necklace you can’t really go wrong! You can quickly and easily use jewellery to transform an outfit.
Doing my outfit pictures indoors is not something I want to happen often, so hopefully it will only be the rare occasion you see the plain dull background! It was dark outside and some sort of storm going on so the only way was inside.
As I said above, a post will be coming up about these beautiful bottoms in the next few days or so I’ll let you all know when.
You would never ever catch me saying this, but I am actually happy this weekend is over as I’ve had to work! BOO HOO! I do hope everyone has had a lovely weekend, the weather is so rubbish at the moment, hurry up summer! (I say that nearly every day, the more I say it, the more I hope it hears me and really gets a wiggle on)
